Embalming

Embalming removes the unkind physical effects of illness or accident and restores a person’s true appearance. It is done to allow you and your family to remember the person as they were in life. You may choose embalming because you want to see your loved one “at peace” or because you would like more time to say goodbye.

Embalming also offers health protection for a person coming into close contact with someone who has died from certain conditions.
